Tonight's performance is a special chance to hear Zoltán Kodály's Epigrams and Sonata for cello and piano Op. 4.
Rarely performed live, these pieces share the method Kodály developed, and represent his originality and talent in constructing some of the first modern art music of the time that continues to inform composers today.
